Green light for 250 homes in Lutterworth

Premier regional developer Mulberry Developments has been given the go-ahead to build up to 250 new family homes to the west of Lutterworth in Leicestershire.

Planning consent has been granted at appeal for one, two, three and four bedroom homes, including affordable housing and associated infrastructure – paving the way for the future development of the site.

As part of the development, a new four-arm roundabout will replace the existing Coventry Road/Brookfield Way junction and a substantial area of existing open space will also be retained as parkland.

Steve Mitchell, Land & Operations Director at Mulberry Developments said: “We are pleased to be able to respond to the housing needs of the district and receive planning permission to bring forward new housing and provide up to 250 new family homes with substantial areas of open space and parkland.”
