Last week Mulberry Homes invited pupils from Sir John Moore Primary School to give them a lesson in building site safety. The talk was given to 21 pupils and held to promote key safety messages to local children led by Mulberry Homes’ Site Manager Adrian Healy.
Mulberry Homes is currently building new homes at Oak View in Appleby Magna, less than a mile from Sir John Moore Primary School.
Mrs Higham, Teacher at Sir John Moore Primary School, said: “The visit was extremely engaging for the children, giving them a chance to point out what they thought the various hazards on a building site could be. In addition, the pupils loved putting on their own hard hat and trying for themselves to build a brick wall.”
