MULBERRY HOMES SPREADS CHRISTMAS JOY AT NORTHAMPTON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Spreading the festive cheer, Northampton-based developer Mulberry Homes has donated a collection of Christmas presents to the children’s wards at Northampton General Hospital.

The homebuilder’s staff members had been purchasing presents from the wish lists provided throughout December and Head of Sales, Kerry Jones, recently visited the hospital to drop off the gifts to the Disney and Paddington Wards.

The Play Service Team at Northampton General Hospital works extremely hard to ensure the children are given the best Christmas possible and Mulberry Homes was delighted to offer its support.

Mulberry Homes’ employees rallied together during the season of goodwill and showed wonderful amounts of generosity to make the personal donation to the babies and teenagers spending Christmas at the hospital.

Sue Faulkner, Play Service Coordinator, said: “The play team are very grateful for this kind donation. The gifts will help to put smiles on the children’s faces at a time when they really would prefer to be at home with friends and family.”

The items on the wish lists included everything from clothing, books and games to essentials such as shaving kits, blankets and socks.

Kerry Jones, Head of Sales at Mulberry Homes, said: “Christmas is a time for everyone to unite and we were pleased to be able to donate the presents to the babies and teenagers at Northampton General Hospital.

“Not everyone is able to be at home with their families during the festive period, so showing our support to those less fortunate is the least we could do.

“We can’t praise the Play Service Team at the hospital highly enough for the work that they do and it was a pleasure to be a part of their efforts in continuing to put smiles on the faces of the children.”
